About My Garden In A Box

Gardening products

Welcome

Hello friends, welcome to My Garden In A Box. I have created this little package because I saw a great need that continues to worsen by the day. I'm sure you've noticed the rising food prices, and how hard it is to make that dollar stretch at the market. I don't believe we have to be held hostage by these rising costs. It is very possible to grow our own food, even if we don't have a backyard! You can grow vegetables using just a few items, which brings me to this little box  I'm about to introduce you to.

Meet "My Garden In A Box". It was created to give you an easy and inexpensive way to start a garden, even if all you have is a patio. The contents in the box allows you to start a garden on the spot. Everything you need is in the box! All you have to do is supply the soil, and don't worry, instructions are included. I hope you enjoy this gardening experience, and your harvest when it comes.

Plants in a growbag

Gardening in small spaces

Gardens come in all kinds of shapes and sizes, but sometimes, it's not always possible to have a backyard or even a small plot of land to plant on. If you've found yourself in  this is situation, then container gardening may be just the solution for you. Using containers to plant fresh vegetables is not only practical, but cost effective in the long run. Buckets, growbags, potato sacks, old tires, planter boxes, even old garbage bags are all suitable containers that can be utilized for planting. Be sure to make holes in the bottom and sides of buckets and garbage bags for drainage.

The good thing about container gardening is that containers can be moved around to other locations, (can't do that with a conventional garden)! The containers can be washed and re used over and over again, and watering and fertilizing are easier to do and to control.

Containers can be placed on patios, decks, rooftops, balconies, and even indoors, as long as the plants are put in a sunny area of the house.

The cost effectiveness comes in when you are able to supply yourself with fresh food that you planted, free of toxic chemicals, and saving money on your grocery bill. With just a little planning, time and patience, this method of gardening will help get you on the road to being self sufficient and empowered. So, let's get started!
